Dr. Manu Gupta has gone above and beyond, undergoing years of advanced education and training. He is a skilled Prosthodontist and an alumni of the renowned Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka, India.

Educational Background
Dr. Manu Gupta took extra steps and underwent years of additional advanced education and training.
He is a Prosthodontist and an alumnus of the world-renowned Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka, India.
He undertook the following courses after Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge
Post Graduate Certificate Course in Advanced Oral Implantology
Post Graduate Certificate Course in Aesthetic Dentistry
He also attended a Course in Modern Endodontics from The White Arch Dental Academy, Pune, India.
WHAT IS PROSTHODONTICS
Prosthodontics is dental specialty pertaining to diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes.
A prosthodontist is trained in crowns, bridges, dentures, dental implants, cosmetics, Temporomandibular Joint Diseases and additional restorative procedures.
STERILIZATION
Polar Aesthetics Dental & Cosmetic Centre gives utmost priority to the highest standards of sterilization.
We take several measures to prevent possible transmission of infectious diseases and any cross-contamination through our strict infection control protocols.
The heightened emphasis on sterilization and hygiene ensures well-being of our patients at all times.
Our sterilization process includes:
• Manual washing and cleaning of all debris and deposits from instruments.
• Ultrasonic washing of all the instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner.
• Packing and sealing of all instruments in sterilization pouches.
• Sterilization of all instruments in Class B front loaded autoclave to ensure complete sterilization.
CLEANLINESS & DISINFECTION
• The floors and surfaces of non-clinical areas are regularly cleaned with good detergents and disinfectants multiple times per day.
• Hand sanitizers are made available at the entrance to the practice, and also in operatory room and at the reception.
• Before entering the operatory, patients are provided shoe covers to cover their footwear.
• Antimicrobial mouthwash as well as hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) given to each patient prior to treatment.
• Our Clinical staff wears appropriate safety equipment such as gowns, hair coverings, disposable gloves and FFP2 masks for all treatment and are disposed of safely after use.
• Dental chairs are disinfected with Bacillol spray.
• The dental chairs are wrapped in cling films and changed after every treatment.
• The dental chair and entire operatory is disinfected after each patient.
• Dental chairs are fitted with valves that prevent backflow of fluids back from the tubings into oral cavity.
• All the tubings are disinfected after each treatment.
• We adhere to government guidelines including maintaining social distancing, use of masks etc., thus making it a COVID free clinic.

PATIENT INFORMATION AND SATISFACTION
At Polar Aesthetics Dental & Cosmetic Centre, we keep our patients informed of their dental conditions pre- and post-treatment.
For this purpose, we use an intra-oral camera and project the pictures onto a 32 inch TV screen for easy viewing and understanding by the patient.
PATIENT ENTERTAINMENT
We have made arrangements for the patients to listen to music or view Netflix, YouTube etc., while undergoing treatment so they are relieved of the stress during treatment.

- Dr. Gupta has worked as a Junior Resident at prestigious Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, India and as a Consultant at Clove Dental, Delhi, India.
- He has over 11 years of experience in General Dentistry, Prosthetic Dentistry, Aesthetics, Smile Designing, Implants, Restorative and Regenerative Dentistry.
- Dr. Gupta has made his mark in entrepreneurship and academics.
- He designed a portable dental chair and won first prize in the competition at Manipal University Technology Business Incubator.
- He has authored several papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored abstracts presented at regional and national conferences.
